Quiet Around Here Lately

Our regular readers have no doubt noticed this has been an incredibly slow week here at Lux Americana. I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates – this has been a very hectic couple of weeks on several fronts, and regular updates to the site have fallen back as a lower priority.

My grandmother recently passed away, and I will be traveling through the southwest this week as I visit with family.

I have been doing a great deal of research over the last several weeks, and there’s a few articles in the works that will undoubtedly be influenced as I devour more related texts while I wait for planes to do their thing…

Please keep checking back, I will be publishing some brief updates during my journey, and we should be returning to a regular schedule of 3-5 new articles a week following my return.

Thanks to all of you who’ve been checking in regularly over these early months, now would be a great time to go back and comment on some of the articles you never gave feedback on before!

Just kidding… but there’s a good chance that if you’re one of the first new people to visit the site and read this in the next hour or so, you’ll be our 1,000th unique visitor – not bad for a site that’s been up for 7 weeks! We’ve had visitors from all 50 states and over 35 countries worldwide!

Once gain, big thanks go out to all of you who’ve been checking back in and reading the new posts, and especially to those of you who’ve been sharing the links with your friends.

I know there’s a lot of you out there who haven’t jumped in on the conversations yet, please don’t be shy! I want to hear your feedback, even (especially!) if you disagree.

Along those same lines, I’m now seeking guest bloggers who would like to contribute content, so we can start saying Lux Americana isn’t just another one-man operation. Guest blogging is a great way to promote your blog, and I’ll be happy to trade original articles.
